Susan Lavian was admitted as an Attorney before the California Supreme Court in 1985, the U.S. District Court Central District of California in 1995, and the U.S. Court of Appeals before the Ninth Circuit in June 1995.
In 1986, Ms. Lavian began advocating for the rights of California employees as a work injury lawyer. She attended numerous educational seminars focusing on injuries and treatment plans, Disability Benefits, Penalties and Sanctions, Serious and Willful Misconduct, Labor Code 132(a), and ADA/FEHA.
In 1995, she established the Law Office of Susan Lavian focusing her efforts as a workers compensation attorney in Los Angeles, specializing in on the job injuries. Ms. Lavian was appointed as Pro Tempore California Workers Compensation Judge.
